CNS Summer Interns

Every summer, CNS-UCSB offers an 8-week intensive internship program to undergraduate students at UC Santa Barbara and California community colleges in the region. Interns are mentored by CNS Graduate Fellows. They assist in research, and at the end of the program, they make formal presentations and prepare posters about their work. Currently all CNS interns are part of the INSET (Internships in Nanosystems, Science, Engineering and Technology) program at the California NanoSystems Institute at UCSB. INSET is funded by the National Science Foundation as part of its Research Experiences for Undergraduates program.
