Bonnie Molitor comes to CNS-UCSB with nine years’ experience in grants administration and project management in public higher education. As Assistant Director of the Office of Research and Sponsored Programs at CSU Channel Islands, Ms. Molitor was integral in building the infrastructure and administration of the centralized campus grants administration office, overseeing policy development, budgeting, proposal development, and pre- and post-award research and sponsored programs compliance. In 2010, she was one of only ten administrators selected nationwide to participate in the DHHS-HACU Professions Capacity Building Program, a federal professional development program to strengthen the capacity of Hispanic Serving Institutions to secure and retain federal funding for research and sponsored programs. Ms. Molitor also has private-sector professional experience in accounting and financial analysis. She graduated from California Lutheran University with a BS in Business Management.
