Dr. Lan Xue is a professor in the School of Public Policy and Management and Executive Vice President of Development Research Academy for the 21st Century at Tsinghua University.  His teach and research interests include public policy and management, science and technology policy, and crisis management.  He is also an Adjunct Professor at Carnegie Mellon University, a member of the Visiting Committee for the Kennedy School of Government at Harvard University, and a member of the Board of Governors of International Development Research Center (IDRC). This event is being co-sponsored by the Donald Bren School of Environmental Science and Management and the Orfalea Center for Global and International Studies.
