Nano Renewable Energy Summit
|
| The Nano Renewable Energy Summit is a gathering of world-renowned experts at the intersection of renewable energy and nanotechnology, with a specific focus on the business, commercialization, and economic development potential of emerging technologies in the renewable energy and sustainability sectors. Presented by the NanoBusiness Alliance and co-hosted by the Colorado Nanotechnology Alliance, the summit will open on Sunday, July 20, 2008 at the University of Denver. The Nano Renewable Energy Summit is presented in conjunction with the Golden, Colorado based National Renewable Energy Laboratory (NREL).

Intergovernmental Forum on Chemical Safety Presents: Forum VI

IFCS provides an open, transparent and inclusive forum for discussing issues of common interest and also new and emerging issues in the area of sound management of chemicals. IFCS plays a unique multi-faceted role as a flexible, open and transparent brainstorming and bridge-building forum for Governments, intergovernmental organizations and non-governmental organizations including from the private sector. This role has facilitated consensus building on issues and actions addressing the sound management of chemicals. By its efforts it contributes to the implementation of the Strategic Approach to International Chemicals Management (SAICM) and the work of other chemicals-related international organizations and institutions.
